The National Instruments 781775-01 (PXIe-5665) is a high performance modular RF vector signal analyzer designed for precision measurements across a wide frequency range. This system offers a frequency range from 20 Hz to 3.6 GHz or up to 14 GHz depending on the specific configuration. The analyzer is capable of handling an instantaneous bandwidth of up to 50 MHz which allows for the capture and analysis of complex signals within this range. It also features a highly accurate phase noise of - 129 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset from an 800 MHz carrier.

The 781775-01 module is composed of three key PXI Express hardware modules: the PXIe-5622 IF Digitizer, PXIe-5603 or PXIe-5605 RF Signal Downconverter, and PXIe-5653 RF Analog Signal Generator. The combination of these components provides a modular approach to signal analysis. The system’s RF input attenuation is adjustable offering mechanical attenuation from 0 dB to 75 dB in 5 dB steps and electronic attenuation from 0 dB to 40 dB in 1 dB steps. This Vector Signal Analyzer's internal frequency reference operates at 10 MHz along with high stability over temperature variations and minimal aging effects. The system supports a frequency reference input range from 5 MHz to 100 MHz which is lockable with a ± 0.2 × 10⁻⁶ range for external synchronization. The analyzer's spectral purity is reflected in its low single sideband phase noise particularly - 129 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset which is critical for applications requiring high signal integrity. The 781775-01 model’s amplitude measurements are supported across a wide range from the average noise level up to + 30 dBm.
