Part Number 784802-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments LV-222-441-000 PXI ARINC 429 Interface Module. ARNIC 429 is one of the most common ARNIC (Aeronautical Radio Incorporated) standards that defines the transfer of digital data between commercial avionics systems. This standard uses broadcast bus topology and a label identification method for data words.
The 784802-01 features 8 channels that can be configured as both transmitters and receivers. The receive channels have automatic speed detection, independent label, and SDI filtering, while each transmit channel can automatically maintain accurate label repetition rates. Furthermore, both channels can be set independently for low or high speed (12.5 or 100 Kbps).
The 784802-01 also supports non-standard speeds and the configurable frequencies can be set for each transmit and receive channel through software. This allows operating the channels with equipment that does not adhere to the ARNIC 429 standards. The non-standard frequencies can be generated with the help of a bit-rate configuration function.
