The PXI-8460/1 (Part Number: 778008-01) is a low-speed 1-port Controller Area Network Interface (CAN) intended to communicate with low-speed CAN gadgets up to 125 kb/s. NI PXI-CAN modules utilize the Philips SJA1000 CAN controller for advanced functionality features, such as listen only, personal reception (echo) and advanced filtering modes, and new transceivers that offer rest/wakeup mode. Each CAN interface is sold with the NI-CAN gadget programming. The user can synchronize CAN, DAQ, vision, and motion modules by utilizing the PXI trip bus. The PXI-8460/1 module is intended to work with LabVIEW Real-Time for deterministic control applications. All NI CAN interfaces meet the physical and electrical necessities for CAN (automotive) vehicle systems.
