With Windows XP Operating system the NI 779755-01 is an embedded controller that is designed for PXI CompactPCI systems. This model is perfect for data acquisition and modular instrumentation applications. All peripherals are located on the front panel, including one VGA (15-pin DSUB), two 16550 RS-232 serial ports, one 10/100 Ethernet port, one USB 2.0 port, one PS/2 (5-pin Din) port, one parallel port (36-pin champ), and one GPIB (25-pin Micro D). 

The device features one system slot and three controller expansion slots. This device allows users to install any compatible operating system via a USB CD-ROM or, in some cases, from a network. This 3U-size embedded PXI controller requires one system slot and three expansion slots. It operates with the NI-DAQ driver software, which is compatible with software packages and application development environments (ADEs) like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Measurement Studio, and NI-VISA. The NI 779755-01 is an integrated microprocessor with standard and extended PC peripherals.
