The National Instruments 787882-33 (PXIe-8842) is an embedded controller designed for PXI systems specifically for processor intensive tasks such as modular instrumentation and data acquisition applications. It features an Intel® Core™ i5-11500HE processor with a 12 MB Smart Cache that ensures fast and efficient processing power. The controller supports dual-channel DDR4-3200 MHz memory with 16 GB of standard memory expandable up to 32 GB. 
The 787882-33 model includes two 10/100/1000/2500BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet ports that provide fast networking capabilities with support for high speed data communication. A Thunderbolt 4 port enables high speed peripheral connections including external storage and displays.

The system also includes two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports and provides ample connectivity for various peripherals. The built-in 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD ensures fast read and write speeds by improving system performance during data heavy operations.This controller offers a range of PCI Express link speeds with up to 5.0 GT/s. This ensures high speed communication between the PXI modules and the system.
