The National Instruments PXI-8196 is a high-performance, microprocessor-based Embedded Controller designed for use in PXI systems. This controller (Part Numbers: 779911-00, 779911-01, 779912-00, 779912-01) is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium M 760 processor and includes 512 MB of DDR2 SDRAM, expandable to 1 GB or 2 GB using two DDR2 SO-DIMM modules.
