National Instruments 778739-01 PXI Matrix Switch Module

Commonly known as the PXI-2529, the National Instruments 778739-01 is a high-density PXI matrix switch module made to withstand the demanding requirements of automated test systems. Depending on the terminal block accessories used, this flexible module can be set up as an 8x16 or 4x32 2-wire matrix. Its electromechanical relays provide little thermal offset for precise low-voltage measurements and perform exceptionally well for high-power signal switching.

Because it is designed to withstand a maximum switching voltage of 150V between channels and between channels and between channels and the ground, the 778739-01 PXI Matrix Switch Module can be used in a range of testing situations. It is significant to remember that when inductive loads, like motors and solenoids, are switched, high voltage transients that are higher than the rated voltage of the module may be produced. If this happens, relay life and module functioning may be impacted and further protection may be required.
