National Instruments PXIe-2531 PXI Matrix Switch Module

The PXIe‑2531 (Part Number: 780587-31) is a high-density, 512-Crosspoint, 1-Wire, PXI Matrix Switch Module from National Instruments. It has the capability to create up to a 4 x 2176 or an 8 x 1088 one-wire matrix in a single chassis. It is also compatible for larger configurations with multi-chassis solutions. This makes the NI PXIe-2531 ideal for high channel count automated test systems. The PXIe-2531 is comprised of compact reed relays. It has switching speeds up to 2,000 cycles per second. This feature enables the NI PXIe-2531 to synchronize with other instruments. The PXIe‑2531 is aimed for low‐current, high-speed switching.  

The NI PXIe-2531 offers a high switching voltage from channel to channel, with values of 60 V_DC and 30V_AC RMS. It also has the same switching voltage capacity for the channel to the ground voltage. The PXIe-2531 Matrix Switch Module measures voltage category "CAT I or CAT 0". This module is designed for measuring voltages of specially protected secondary circuits. The NI PXIe 2531 has a high-class terminal block mounting on the front. This terminal helps provide the signal connection through VHDCI connectors for the matrix topology. This Matrix Switch Module uses an NI SHC68-68 shielded cable and has an NI TBX-68 screw terminal breakout. These features help connect signals to the rows and columns in the matrix.
