The PXIe‑2540 (Part Number: 780587-40) is a 350 MHz, 8 x 9, PXI RF Matrix Switch Module from National Instruments, with the capability to connect to any row or column within the switching matrix. This module maximizes the flexibility of test systems. The NI PXIe-2540 Matrix Switch Module has isolation relays, which disconnect unused parts of the switching matrix and help maintain RF performance and high isolation. The PXIe 2540 module is perfect for routing signals between digitizers and function generators, as well as routing signals between RF generators and analyzers.
The value for the contact resistance of the NI PXIe-2540 Matrix Switch Module remains low for the whole life cycle of the relay, with an approximate value less than 2.1 ohms. It can elevate rapidly to above 3.1 ohms at the end of the life cycle of the relay. The PXIe-2540 module has a switching power up to 10 Watts.
