PXI MIL-STD-1553 Interface Modules

The PXI MIL-STD-1553 Interface Modules from National Instruments and Astronics Ballard Technology offer PXI bus interfaces for the MIL-STD-1553 protocol, which is used for a range of instrumentation and data bus testing applications. The MIL-STD-1553 platform offers powerful functionality for data buses in a variety of industries, including contemporary combat aircraft. The different modules included in this series are divided into two types, Single Function and Multifunction. The Single Function models include the LV-222-510-000 (1 channel), LV-222-511-000 (2 channels), LV-222-511-511 (4 channels)- while the Multifunction models include the LV-222-550-000 (1 channel), LV-222-555-000 (2 channels), LV-222-555-555 (4 channels). The components of the PXI MIL-STD-1553 Interface Modules include three functional levels for each channel. These include at least one terminal Bus Controller, RT and Bus Monitor functionality, and user-configurable RT response time.
