National Instruments PXI-2585 PXI Multiplexer Switch Module

The National Instruments PXI-2585 (Part Number: 778572-85) is a 12 A, 1-Wire, 10-Channel Multiplexer Switch Module. This high-power module is an ideal solution for various control applications and automotive, battery, and power supply testing. The NI PXI-2585 can be configured as a 10x1 multiplexer offering both high isolation voltage and low contact resistance. With this module, the user can acquire 300 V channel-to-channel and 300 V (Measurement Category II) channel-to-ground maximum switching voltage. In AC systems, this Multiplexer Switch Module offers 3 kVA (up to 60 Hz) maximum switching power per channel.

 The relays used in the NI PXI-2585 are electromechanical single-side stable relays with a silver-nickel relay contact material. These relays are designed to actuate within 15.4 milliseconds maximum. The relay’s expected life is 1 × 10⁷ cycles (mechanical), 1 × 10⁵ cycles electrical (@ 30 V DC, 10 A DC resistive), and 3 × 10⁴ cycles electrical (@ 30 V DC, 12 A DC resistive). The National Instruments PXI-2585 comes equipped with a Positronic GMCT series plug I/O connector featuring 20-positions.
