The PXIe-1209 (Part Number: 785033-01) is a 100 MHz, 2-Channel Pulse Generator designed and manufactured by Astronics for National Instruments. This PXI Pulse Generator offers parallel, dual-channel pulse generation with full customization of all timing characteristics at extremely high resolutions. Each channel of the PXIe-1209 can operate independently with user-defined pulse width, period, double pulse spacing, and pulse delay. The Astronics PXIe-1209 is a fully programmable pulse generator and can be triggered from the PXI bus trigger or from the front. This PXI Pulse Generator supports a variety of operational modes, including follow trigger, external triggering, synchronous gating, asynchronous gating, single pulse, double pulse, continuous pulsing, single pulsing, etc.
The Astronics PXIe-1209 generates true analog pulses. Thus, you can use it as a replacement (up to 100 MHz) laboratory pulse generators. Moreover, it can also replace your HP pulse generators. In a number of applications, the Astronics PXIe-1209 PXI Pulse Generator can outperform an AWG, since it is a true pulse generator. The two channels incorporated in the PXIe-1209 can be operated over a frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 100 MHz. For increased stability and accuracy, this PXI Pulse Generator supports clock disciplining– a feature that disciplines the integrated clock to simulate a 10 MHz external reference.
The internal clock provided on this PXI Pulse Generator has a range of 0.093 Hz to 100 MHz and can operate with 0.093 Hz resolution at 0.01% accuracy. The PXIe-1209 PXI Pulse Generator requires 1 PXIe slot for deployment. The PXIe-1209 requires 3 amperes of current at +3.3 VDC.
