The NI PXIe-5841 has an RF Generator which supports a frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz and an instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz. The typical tuning time of the RF generator is 250 µS. Furthermore, the RF Analyzer also features the 9 kHz – 6 GHz frequency range and 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth. The loopback error vector magnitude of the PXIe-5841 Vector Signal Transceiver is up to -48 dB.
The NI PXIe-5841 PXI Vector Signal Transceiver baseband characteristics include 14-bit ADC resolution, 16-bit DAC resolution, and 1.25 GS/s sample rate for both ADC and DAC operations. On the front panel, the PXIe-5841 has SMA female connectors for RF IN and RF OUT connections. The RF IN connector supports the maximum input voltage of ±10 VDC. The typical power consumption of the NI PXIe-5841 Vector Signal Transceiver is 80 W.
