National Instruments PXIe-5413 PXI Waveform Generator

With the PXIe-5413 (Part Numbers: 784181-01 and 785114-01) Waveform Generator, users can generate arbitrary waveforms that are user-defined. With the fractional re-sampling method, the NI PXIe-5413 can accurately create waveforms by using data sequences or by carrying out continuous streaming from a host-to-peer or peer-to-peer instrument within the PXI system. This Waveform Generator has advanced synchronization options, which makes it ideal in the testing of semiconductor devices, consumer electronics, automotive, and aerospace/defense.

The NI PXIe 5413 supports frequencies up to 20 MHz. The step response rise time is measured at 14.8 ns. This PXI Waveform Generator features a clock, PFI I/O, triggers, and markers. The arbitrary waveform size is from 2 samples to 64,000,000 samples. The user sample rate when digital filter is enabled and disabled are 5.6 µS/s to 200 MS/s and 3.125 MS/s to 200 MS/s respectively. The NI PXIe-5413’s frequency step size is 2.84 µHz and it has 8,192 waveform points.

The reference clock frequency for the PXIe 5413 PXI Waveform Generator is 100 MHz (<±25 ppm) and the sample clock rate is 800 MHz. This model has a PFI I/O frequency range from 0 MHz to 25 MHz and a maximum input voltage of +5 V. The operating shock for the NI PXIe-5413 is 30 g peak, half-sine, 11 ms pulse. The random vibration while operating is 5 Hz to 500 Hz and 0.3 grms. However, the random vibration while not operating is 5 Hz to 500 Hz, and 2.4 grms.
