The National Instruments 779362-01, an identifying number of the PXI‑7813- a versatile Digital Reconfigurable I/O (RIO) Module designed for high-performance digital processing and flexible I/O operations. This module features a Virtex-II 3M Gate FPGA, which allows users to program custom onboard decision-making processes that execute with hardware-timed speed and reliability. This FPGA enables precise control over synchronization and timing of all signals and operations, making the 779362-01 well-suited for a variety of complex applications.

Each of the 160 digital lines on the 779362-01 can be configured differently to function as an input, an output, a counter/timer, PWM signal, an encoder input, or a specialized communication protocol. It is perfect for jobs like bit error rate testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, sensor simulation, and high-speed waveform synthesis because of its versatility. With a 4 mA output current and TTL compatibility, each digital I/O channel may support bidirectional logic levels of 3.3 and 5 volts. With a range of -0.5 volts to 7 volts, the module's input overvoltage protection ensures reliable operation in a variety of settings.

The LabVIEW FPGA Module and NI LabVIEW can be used to program the 779362-01.
