National Instruments PCIe-7858R Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device
The PCIe-7858R (part number: 786457-01) is a Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device from National Instruments. As part of the NI R Series of products, the PCIe-7858R is specifically designed for use with PCI Express slots. It is activated and performs functions with the LabVIEW FPGA module. The PCIe-7858R has similar specifications to the PCIe-7858, differing only in the type of FPGA.
The NI PCIe-7858R is offered with a single user-reconfigurable Kintex-7 325T FPGA, which is designed with 16,020 kbits RAM. This Multifunction Reconfigurable I/O Device has an ADC converter for timing and triggering supportm and The PCIe-7858R device is available with a maximum clock rate of 80 MHz, and features 8 analog input channels, 8 analog output channels, and 48 bidirectional digital channels for flexible connectivity options. Single-ended or differential voltage signals can be connected to the AI+, AI-, and AI GND pins on each channel. Non-referenced single-ended signals, on the other hand, can be successfully connected by using the AISENSE pin.
It is possible to connect the PCIe-7858 to either floating or grounded differential signal sources. To do this, just attach the AI- to the negative voltage signal and the AI+ to the positive voltage signal. Make sure that the signal reference is connected to AI GND in order to link grounded differential signals.
The NI PCIe-7858R is manufactured to control signals from the input/output channels. It has a DRAM memory size of 512 MB, and offers support for x4, x8, and x16 PCI Express slots. The PCIe-7858R functions with a 10 V/us slew rate, and contains 16 DMA channels in the bus interface. The National Instruments PCIe-7858R has two 68-pin VHDCI I/O connectors, operating with a maximum channel sampling rate of 1 MS/s.
