National Instruments SCC-AI05 Isolated Analog Input Module
Designed to bring modular signal conditioning with portability to a DAQ system, the National Instruments SCC-AI05 (Part Number: 777459-24) provides the user with a capability to complete conditioning on a per-channel basis. This 10 kHz bandwidth Isolated Analog Input Module is designed to work with basic multifunction DAQ devices and the E Series devices. A simple NI SCC-AI05 DAQ system includes the SCC module, an SC-2345 Series Shielded Carrier, and a DAQ device, interconnected employing cables.
This module comes with one removable 4-pin screw terminal and one 20-pin male connector. A 24 to 12 AWG screw terminal wire gauge is required with the SCC-AI05 Isolated Analog Input Module. The channel-to-earth continuous isolation voltage provided is 60 VDC. The NI SCC-AI05 can be used with a broad range of sensors/signals, such as: RTDs, IEPE accelerometers, strain gauges, etc. This module also provides a variety of connectivity options including, but not limited, to 9-pin D-sub, BNC, banana jack, etc. Thus, this module is a flexible and highly customizable one which offers ease of use as well.
With this module, for fine tuning and adjustments across parameters like Gain and Offset Voltage, users can smoothly proceed with their E/M Series DAQ devices. This module's internal filter has 3 poles, 60 dB/decade rolloff, and 10 kHz cutoff frequency. The module is designed to provide the user with 50 PPM/°C gain accuracy, while operating at an input impedance of 100 MΩ. The National Instruments SCC-AI05 Isolated Analog Input Module is fully compatible with the NI-DAQmx software. For additional tasks, the user can utilize multiple units of this analog input module in a cascade configuration.
