The SCC-ICP is an Accelerometer Module. The SCC-ICP is produced by National Instruments. The NI SCC-ICP module belongs to the family of accessories made for SCC Series devices by National Instruments. The NI SCC-ICP Accelerometer Module comes with the part number 777459-19. NI-DAQ driver software version 6.8 or later is required to operate this module.
The National Instruments SCC-ICP Accelerometer Module is specially designed to work with the SC-2345 Carrier. This module cannot operate as the second stage of a dual-stage configuration when inserted in the SC-2345. The SCC-ICP module is manufactured with one differential analog input channel. The SCC-ICP utilizes this single channel for communicating with other sensors. The NI SCC-ICP module is configured as a signal conditioning equipment that is utilized for an Integrated Piezoelectric (IEPE) device. This IEPE module is compatible with accelerometer or microphone. The NI SCC-ICP is used to measure acceleration with proper ratings.
The NI SCC-ICP Accelerometer Module is equipped with a single differential amplifier and has AC input coupling. The SCC-ICP module is fabricated with a 3-pole Bessel low-pass filter. The NI SCC-ICP Accelerometer Module offers a stable current source for exciting multiple sensors. The SCC-ICP module has two I/O connectors: a 20-pin right-angle male connector and a 6-pin screw terminal. The SCC-ICP functions with an ICP input and has a current excitation of 4 mA.
SCC-ICP Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Accelerometer Module for SCC will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
