National Instruments 776572-02 Voltage Input Module
The National Instruments part number 776572-02 is the unique number for the SCXI-1102 Voltage Input Module. This module is designed for Thermocouple signal conditioning low-bandwidth volt and millivolt sources, 4 to 20 mA current sources, and 0 to 20 mA process-current sources. It has 32 Differential Analog input channels and one cold junction sensor channel. Each channel on this input module has a 3-pole low-pass filter that has a cut-off frequency of 2 Hz to help eliminate 60 hz noise from the channels. The channels also have an amplifier with a gain range of 1 to 100 to help amplify the signal. The signals can be multiplexed to produce a single output to be used for a data acquisition device.
The temperature sensor is used by the SCXI-1102/B/C thermocouples for cold-junction correction. The CJSENSOR channel also passes through a 2 Hz lowpass filter to reject unwanted noise on the SCXI-1102/B/C. Along with the other 32 input channels, the CJSENSOR is multiplexed to the output buffer, where it can be read by the DAQ device.
For measurement accuracy of 0.012 % of the full scale, the minimum scan interval is 3 µs allowing you to switch between multiple channels on the same module and measure accurately. . The 3 µs scan interval gives you a maximum sampling rate of 333 kHz. Because this rate is higher than the bandwidth of a single SCXI-1102/B/C channel, you can sample multiple channels on multiple SCXI modules without undersampling one of the SCXI-1102/B/C channels.
The 776572-02 has dimensions of 115 by 273 mm (4.54 by 10.75 in.). It should only be operated in an environment with a temperature between 0 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius and should be stored in an environment with an ambient temperature between -55 degrees Celsius and 155 degrees Celsius. The module can be operated in a humid environment with a maximum humidity of 90%. The 776572-02 operates on 5 Volts DC consuming 15 mA of current at max or it can also be operated at 15 Volts DC with 150 mA of current.
