National Instruments 777687-34 Terminal Block

Part Number 777687-34 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments SCXI-1334 Terminal Block. This terminal block is used to configure the SCXI-1129 switch module as a 4 x 64 matrix In addition, it contains terminals for scanner advanced output and external input signals. Furthermore, it also comes with two 128-pin DIN connectors for connectingcolumns between modules and 10-pin headers for connecting rows between modules. 

The maximum working voltage for the 777687-34 for both channel-to-earth and channel-to-channel is 150V, which falls under Measurement Category I. The maximum current per channel can be 2 ADC or 2 AAC. According to the safety guidelines, the module should not be used for measurements in categories II, III, or IV and it should not be connected to the MAINS supply circuits of 115 or 230 VAC. Note that when hazardous voltages (>42.4 Vpk/60 VDC) are present on any relay terminal, safety low voltage (≤42.4 Vpk/60 VDC) cannot be connected to any other relay terminal. Most importantly, to avoid damage, the exposed pins should never be touched. 

To set up and use the 777687-34 with the SCXI-1129 switch module, you will need an SCXI chassis, a ⅛ in. flathead screwdriver, Numbers 1 and 2 Philips screwdrivers, long-nose pliers, a wire cutter, wire insulation stripper, a matrix expansion plug to expand the rows of a matrix, and a matrix expansion cable to expand the number of columns of a matrix. 

The recommended temperature range for the operation of the 777687-34 is 0 °C to 55 °C at a relative humidity of up to 10% to 90% RH. Likewise, the device is only meant to be used in indoor spaces and within a maximum altitude of 2000m (800 mbar)  (at 25 °C ambient temperature). On the other hand, it can be stored at -40 to 71 °C at a relative humidity of  5% to 95% RH. The device meets the following safety standards for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use: IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1, UL 60950-1, UL 61010-1, and  CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1.
