The NI SCXI-1379 (Part Number: 778732-01) has the capability to configure the SCXI-1130 Switch Module as an 8x32, 1-wire matrix. With the use of software, the user can control the matrix to link to any row(s) to any column(s). When the SCXI-1130 module is configured as a matrix, it turns into a general-purpose signal router. The SCXI 1379 Terminal Block installs on the front of the SCXI-1130 module; the Terminal Block utilizes screw terminals to link signals and the trigger input and trigger output signals to the switch module. The NI SCXI-1379 can work with National Instruments matrix expansion plugs for instantaneous row expansion through column linking. This does not necessitate external wiring.
