The RTI-12302 Rear Transition Interface (part number 785377-01) from Smart E Tech is a reliable interface that is designed to act as a connection bridge in-between external equipment and Scalable Laboratory Simulation Controller (SLSC) modules. When it comes to transferring power and data, the RTI-12302 effortlessly facilitates connections with it’s 64 channels to two PXI VHD­CI-68 DIO connectors, such as the National Instruments PXIe-7846R module. 

Designed with level 1 compliance, the RTI-12302 is well suited for a wide range of test and measurement applications. Above all, it provides a unique standardized method for connecting all of the various parts of a test system. This specific model is part of the SET-RTI series from Smart E Tech (now NI), which is comprised of modules that are well known for their robust design and diverse flexibility. If the user wishes to mount the RTI-12302, it can be mounted on the back of the SLSC chassis- connecting to the SLSC card and transferring signals to any PXI connectors. All together, the device measures dimensions of 101.9 mm x 30.2 mm. 

The RTI-12302 is built to accommodate diverse connectivity scenarios, and the technical description lays out the detailed pinout of each connector type. The front of the device has 3 connectors: JR1, JR2, and JR3. The maximum voltage of the JR1 connector is 60 VDC, while the maximum current is 8 A. The maximum voltage for both the JR2 and JR3 connectors is 30 VDC, and the maximum current in 0.3 A per contact. 

The rear connectors of the RTI-12302 are labeled as XP2 and XP3. The XP2 connector has a maximum voltage of 30 VDC, while the maximum current is 0.3 A per contact. On the other hand, the maximum voltage of the XP3 connector is 60 VDC and the max current is 8 A.
