The National Instruments DAQPad-4350 is a high-precision Temperature and Voltage Meter and belongs to the NI-435x family. The instrument contains a 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter with differential analog inputs. The DAQPad-4350 features programmable ground-referencing. This feature is helpful for ensuring accuracy in voltage measurements, especially when there are ground-referenced floating signal inputs. The NI DAQPad-4350 Meter is perfect for applications such as repair, service, and manufacturing, or for use in lab and industrial settings.
Another special feature of this Temperature and Voltage Meter is the configurable open-thermocouple detection, which is useful for detecting a thermocouple that may have broken before or during measurement. With the DAQPad-4350 Meter, you can measure up to a total resistance of 600 kΩ using the built-in 25 µA precision current source.
The DAQPad-4350 instrument has six bipolar input ranges available for measuring DC voltage. These ranges are ±625 mV, ±1.25 V, ±2.5 V, ±3.75 V, ±7.5 V, and ±15 V. The analog inputs of the NI DAQPad-4350 are protected against damage from voltages within ±42 VDC when powered up and ±17 VDC when the instrument is powered down. This Temperature and Voltage Meter comes with 16 differential or 14 thermocouple channels. The DAQPad-4350 instrument is plug-and-play compatible and is completely software-calibrated. This Temperature and Voltage Meter is compatible with several types of operating systems.
There are multiple software options to program and operate the DAQPad-4350, including LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, VirtualBench, or the NI-435x instrument driver. The packages include extensive libraries for data acquisition, instrument control, data analysis, and graphical data presentation.
