National Instruments USRP-2952 USRP Software Defined Radio Device
Featured with a powerful yet flexible FPGA, the NI USRP-2952 (Part Numbers: 783151-01 and 783927-01) is a reconfigurable Software Defined Radio Device. This device is reputable for its versatile range of synchronization related features powered by the OCXO reference clock. The reference clock incorporated in this device is a GPS disciplined oscillator. With this device, you will get a chance to create your own software-based radio communication. The NI USRP-2952 can operate within an RF frequency range of 400 MHz to 4.4 GHz. The FPGA in this device is a Kintex-7 410T FPGA.
This USRP Software Defined Radio Device comes with Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe connectivity. For debugging and development, you can use the JTAG USB port provided on the front panel. The USRP-2952 comes equipped with a general-purpose I/O port controlled by the FPGA. Signals received by this device are filters, amplified, digitized, decimated, and downconverted before being forwarded to the host PC. Similarly, signals transmitted by this USRP Software Defined Radio Device are reconstructed, upsampled, upconverted, filtered, and amplified before being forwarded.
If you require a higher channel count, then you can synchronize multiple NI USRP-2952 devices, so they share PPS and clock signals. The standard version of this device comes with 40 MHz transceiver instantaneous bandwidth. However, another variation of this device comes with 120 MHz transceiver instantaneous bandwidth. The transmitter of this device has two 400 MHz to 4.4 GHz channels, which have a gain range of 0 dB to 31.5 dB.
