National Instruments 781057-01 Multifunction I/O Module

The National Instruments 781057-01 (PXIe-6366) is a high performance simultaneous sampling multifunction DAQ (Data Acquisition) device that offers comprehensive analog and digital I/O capabilities. With a maximum sample rate of 2 MS/s per channel and 16 bit resolution, this module can handle eight differential analog input channels. By reducing loading effects on the measured signal, the analog input section's wide input range (± 1 V to ± 10 V) produces high input impedance.

The 781057-01 module features two analog output channels each with a 16 bit resolution and a maximum update rate of 3.3 MS/s that allows for precise control of actuators or generation of test signals. The device is equipped with advanced timing and synchronization technologies such as NI-STC3 enabling independent timing engines for analog and digital I/O. This timing flexibility makes this module ideal for applications like IF digitization, transient recording and telecommunications testing.

The NI 781057-01 module includes 24 digital I/O lines and four 32 bit counters/timers that make it versatile for a wide range of control and measurement applications. The digital I/O section can handle both static digital input/output and high speed waveform generation and acquisition supporting frequencies up to 10 MHz for PXIe or 1 MHz for USB interfaces. This multifunction I/O module offers a 68-pin VHDCI connector and it can be interfaced via PXIe or USB depending on the model. The device is also equipped with overvoltage protection and self resetting fuses that ensure reliable operation in demanding environments. The model supports a range of software configurations through the included NI-DAQmx driver and simplifies setup and integration into measurement systems. 

This module also supports USB 2.0 Hi Speed or full speed connectivity for users requiring a USB interface. It offers the same 8 DMA channels as the PXIe interface that allowing for consistent performance across different system setups. The power supply requirements for the USB variant range from 11 to 30 VDC with a power consumption of up to 30 W. A 3.5 mm pitch pluggable screw terminal is provided for secure power connections.
