National Instruments PXIe-6376 Multifunction Module
The PXIe-6376 (Part Number: 781475-01) Multifunction I/O Module has 8 AI (16 bits, 3.5 MS/s per channel), 2 AO, and 24 DIO. This module demonstrates a typical DAQ framework, which incorporates sensors, transducers, signal conditioning gadgets, cables to associate the different gadgets to the accessories, the X series device, the programming software and the PC. DAQ hardware digitizes signals, performs D/A conversions to produce analog output signals, and measures and controls I/O signals.
The X Series analog inputs and outputs have calibration circuitry to rectify gain and offset mistakes. The user can align the gadget to limit analog input and analog output mistakes caused by time and temperature drift at run time. No outside circuitry is essential; an inward reference guarantees high precision and solidness after some time and temperature changes.
Factory-calibration constants on the NI PXIe-6376 are permanently stored in a locally available EEPROM and cannot be changed. When the user self-aligns the gadget, as described in the Device Self-Calibration, Getting Started manual, programming stores new constants in a client modifiable area of the EEPROM. To get the Multifunction I/O Module back to its factory calibration settings, programming can duplicate the factory-calibration constants to the client modifiable section of the EEPROM.
Most PC based estimation frameworks include data acquisition (DAQ) gadgets with some type of signal modulation. Sensors and transducers for the most part require signal modulation before an estimation framework can successfully and precisely acquire the signal.
