Part Number 781922-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments NI-9924 Terminal Block. This module can be used to create custom cables for C series modules using 25-pin DSUB connectors.
To wire the 781922-01, the user must first loosen the captive screws and remove the top cover. Then, the screw-terminal wire must be prepared by stripping a sufficient amount of insulation. It is advised that the end have 4.5 mm (0.18 in.) of insulation removed. The stripped end of the wire is then fully inserted into the required terminal. The user must make sure that no exposed wire extends past the screw terminal.
After the wire is inserted, the connection is secured by tightening the screw. It is recommended that the screw terminal torque is within a maximum value of 0.3 Nm. The wire is then routed to the opening of the terminal block. This is followed by removing the slack in the 781922-01 wiring and threading a zip tie through the two strain relief holes. Finally, the cover on the terminal block is reinstalled and the four captive screws are tightened.
