National Instruments TB-2631B Terminal Block
The NI TB-2631B (Part Number: 781688-01) is a Terminal Block designed for the PXI-2530B Switch Module, a reed relay Multiplexer that offers a broad range of topologies. This simple device installs in front of the host switch while maintaining signal flow through screw terminals. This model features dedicated screw terminals for trigger inputs and outputs. With this Terminal Block, users can achieve two configurations: 4 x 32 (one-wire) matrix and 4 x 16 (two-wire) matrix.
The TB-2631B is an ideal solution for applications where frequent switching between different configurations is necessary. This Terminal Block is not compatible with the PXI-2530 Switch Module. The rear 160-position connector of the NI TB-2631B plugs into the front connector of the PXI-2530B Switch Module. You can access the screw terminals of this accessory by removing the top cover. The NI TB-2631B can work with almost every National Instruments PXI Chassis.
This Terminal Block has various features to protect the integrity of sensitive signals. A strain-relief bar with screws is provided to prevent undesired cable movements. Moreover, 2 chassis screws are also used to ensure tightness between the accessory, the host module, and the chassis. The 160-position connector incorporated in this accessory is designed to withstand voltage up to 60 VDC and can safely handle up to 0.4 amperes of current. For TRIGIN and TRIGOUT signals, the NI TB-2631B comes with separate screw terminals that are designed to work with up to +5V signals.
TB-2631B Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the Terminal Block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
