National Instruments TB-2636 Terminal Block
The TB-2636 (Part Number: 196762-01) is a Terminal Block constructed by National Instruments. The NI TB-2636 is associated with the family of TB terminal blocks offered by National Instruments. The TB-2636 is a 4 x 32 2-wire Terminal Block. This Terminal Block is specially designed to configure the PXI-2529 switch module.
The NI TB-2636 terminal block is installed in front of the PXI-2529 switch module. The TB-2636 is built with screw terminals that offer access to the columns and rows of the matrix. This NI Terminal Block also requires a PXI chassis and a 1/8 in. flathead screwdriver for operation. The National Instruments TB-2636 can link signals to the PXI-2529 by screwing the 2-wire leads into the corresponding rows or columns as necessary. Make sure the leads are correctly reinforced by the strain relief bar and then connect the terminal block cover. Then, the Terminal Block can be linked straight to the switch with the mating connectors.
The NI TB-2636 is manufactured to meet several safety standards, including IEC 61010-1, EN 61010-1 and UL 61010-1, CSA 61010-1. The National Instruments TB-2636 Terminal Block also meets EMC standards such as EN 61326 EMC requirements; Minimum Immunity, EN 55011 Emissions; Group 1, Class A, and CE, C-Tick, ICES, and FCC Part 15 Emissions; Class A. To ensure EMC compliance, the TB-2636 must be operated with shielded cables.
TB-2636 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the terminal block will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
