National Instruments TBX-1325 Terminal Block
The NI TBX-1325 (Part Number: 777207-25) is a Rack-Mountable Terminal Block designed explicitly for secure connection to the front connector of the SCXI-1124. This Terminal Block comes with 30 screw terminals; six of these terminals connect to the chassis ground of the SCXI through a SH48-48-A cable. The remaining 24 terminals are used for the signal connection. This Terminal Block can be mounted on most EU standard DIN EN mounting rails.
The NI TBX-1325 is a safer alternative to the SCXI-1325 Terminal Block because it does not attach to the front of the SCXI module directly. Thus, this model offers a convenient and more reliable method for adding and removing signals to and from a system. The TBX-1325 supports shielded cables. These shielded cables connect the front I/O connector of the SCXI-1124 to the Terminal Block.
A hardened plastic cover and hardware allow the NI TBX-1325 Terminal Block to be easily rack-mounted. The entire procedure of installing a TBX-1325 Terminal Block involves a pair of long-nose pliers, a /16 in. wrench, and a Number 1 Phillips-head screwdriver. The user can easily install the Terminal Block after powering off the SCXI chassis and disconnecting the data acquisition device from the SCXI chassis.
The labeling provided on the TBX-1325 helps the user connect the Terminal Block to the SCXI module safely. This Terminal Block offers shielded, low-noise cabling. The NI TBX-1325 has a maximum of 250 Vrms of common-mode isolation between channel to earth ground and between channels as well.
