NHR-9200 Battery Module/Pack Test System
The NHR-9200 Battery Module/Pack Test System is an advanced regenerative battery testing solution for evaluating battery modules and energy storage devices in the lab and in production. Since it offers scalable power ranges from 12kW to 252kW using 40V, 120V, or 600V bi-directional DC power modules, it is ideal for applications including electric vehicles, renewable energy storage, and critical power systems. Users can adjust power levels to suit the varying requirements of battery testing due to the system's flexibility.
The 9200 system makes use of separate 12kW DC power modules that can be configured to function independently or in tandem within or across cabinets. This allows for the capacity to connect modules in simultaneously for high-power battery tests or to test smaller batteries concurrently, each with its own test plan. Regenerative technology allows the system to recover more than 87% of the energy used during discharge and repurpose it as AC power for the facility. This energy-saving feature lowers waste heat, lowers the demand for cooling, and promotes sustainability programs all while increasing ROI over time.
By rapidly digitizing analog signals, the system continuously records important metrics including voltage, current, amp-hours, and watt-hours and offers accurate measurement data. This makes it possible to analyze battery activity during transient situations using real-time waveform displays that resemble an oscilloscope, without the requirement for extra measuring tools. Reports including these waveforms can be used for in-depth examination.
Using macros to execute programs directly on the power modules, the NHR-9200 boasts quick transient simulation capabilities. This enables the simulation of actual battery conditions and waveform capturing at up to 1.2 ms/sec. Macros can be stored and recalled by users for use in upcoming exams. Standard charging profiles like CCCV and CPCV are made possible by the many operating modes that each test channel offers, including constant-voltage, constant-current, and constant-power. A touch panel on each cabinet in the system allows for manual control or time-based test profiles in addition to providing settings for voltage, current, and power.
