National Instruments 777687-70 Rack-Mount Kit

Part Number 777687-70 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments SCXI 1370 Rack-Mount Kit. The rack mount kit is used to mount the SCXI-1001 chassis into a 19-inch rack. There are six different positions 
in which the SCXI 1001 chassis can be mounted to obtain the desired front panel depth. The SCXI 1001 chassis is used to power SCXI modules as well as handle trigger, timing, and signal routing between the user’s SCXI modules and digitizers. The module is compatible with major operating systems like Windows, Linux, Mac OS, and LabVIEW RT.

The 777687-70 features the following set of accessories: two rack-mount brackets, four 8-32 by 5/16-inch Philips flathead screws, four 10-32 by ½-inch Philips panhead screws, two 6-32 by ¼ -inch Philips flathead screws, and a SXCI rack-mount kit installation guide. In addition to the SCXI chassis, you will also need a #2 Philips-head screwdriver. 

The 777687-70 can be installed with the help of the diagram in the installation guide. After the necessary documents and guides are in place, the first step is to turn the SCXI -1001 chassis power off. Then, to attach the rack-mount brackets to the SCXI chassis, you must use the four 8-32 screws. Similarly, when the brackets are in positions 1,2,3, or 4 (as shown in the diagram in the installation guide), two 6-32 screws are used to secure the brackets. Finally, four 10-32 screws are used to attach the assembly to your rack.
