National Instruments 781497-01 CompactDAQ Chassis Enclosure
National Instruments part number 781497-01 is an identifying part number for the cDAQ-9191 a CompactDAQ Chassis with 1 slot, 4 counters and 127 samples Input FIFO size. The NI 781497 is designed for use with C series Modules. The Wi-Fi Bus Powered NI CompactDAQ Chassis follows the highest commercially available wireless network security standard, IEEE 802.11i (also known as WPA2 or WPA2 Enterprise), including network authentication and data encryption. IEEE 802.1X authentication ensures only authorized devices have network access, while encryption prevents data interception.
This device supports various Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) methods, allowing mutual authentication between data acquisition devices and wireless access points (WAPs). The NI 781497-01 also supports the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), a 128-bit cryptographic algorithm adopted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology for use in many U.S. government agencies. Using standard security protocols, 802.11 Wi-Fi Chassis makes it easy to securely add wireless measurements to existing IT infrastructures.
The device has a timing resolution of 12.5 ns. The output FIFO size for onboard regeneration is 8,191 samples shared among the channels used. For non-regeneration, the size is 127 samples. The AO waveform modes include non-periodic waveform, periodic waveform regeneration mode from onboard memory, and periodic waveform regeneration from the host buffer with dynamic update. The cDAQ chassis can measure a wide variety of analog and digital I/O signals and sensors. When the 781497 cDAQ chassis is connected to a network, multiple users can access it. To perform any DAQ functions on the C Series modules, including reset and self-test, you must reserve the cDAQ chassis in MAX.
