National Instruments 782110-01 Timing Module

The part number 782110-01 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the PXI-6683 Timing Module. This module is designed to provide clock signals for synchronizing and triggering the PXI systems. This module supports both IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol and a GPS. The IEEE 1588 protocol ensures extreme precision for module and supported components synchronization across the PXI series which is extremely important for large-scale industries where numerous modules are interconnected. 

The GPS feature in the 782110-01 provides time and frequency synchronization to global positioning system standards allowing this module to be used outdoors, especially for mobile applications. The 782110-01 supports IRIG-B time codes, making it extremely easy to integrate with existing synchronization infrastructure in common industrial setups.
